Houstonist headed out early this morning to the Lee and Joe Jamail Skatepark to check out the PUSH Novice Skateboard Workshop. There were over 70 kids in attendance who all showed up to learn how to skate and pick up tips from seasoned veterans who were the instructors for the morning. Houstonist braved the scorching heat and throngs of people at the opening of the Lee & Joe Jamail Skatepark near downtown Houston on Sunday to bring you these photos. The masses waited outside the facility until the ribbon was cut allowing the crowd to flow into the park.
